Box = length × width × height; sphere = 4⁄3 × π × r³; cylinder = π × r² × height; cone = 1⁄3 × π × r² × height. The cone holds exactly one third of the cylinder that surrounds it.

What units does volume use?

For the same base radius and height, a cone’s volume is exactly one third of the cylinder’s — a classic result from geometry.
How do I convert volume to litres?
